Refunds

Eligibility

These rules apply to tuition invoices issued by Layer Flowcore for Trace Map, Sequence Lab, and Cohort Atelier. They do not apply to third-party software licences you buy yourself.

Timeframe

You may cancel a place for a full refund if you write to us at least 14 days before the published start date (or before workbook access is issued for Trace Map). After that, refunds become partial or unavailable as set out below.

Full refund

Full refunds are given when we cancel a cohort, when we cannot offer a comparable date within 90 days, or when a consumer cancels within the 14-day window after a distance contract and before accessing paid materials, as UK consumer law requires.

Partial refund

If you withdraw after Sequence Lab or the Studio has begun, we refund unused weeks minus the sessions already delivered and a £90 administration amount. Trace Map refunds after the first marked sketch are limited to 40% of the fee if the second sketch has not been submitted.

Non-refundable items

Guest-critique travel booked at your request, printed workbooks already posted, and employer seats where the learner has attended two live sessions are not refundable, though we may offer a transfer to a later cohort.

Process

Email hello@layer-flowcore.digital with the subject “Refund”, your invoice number, and whether you want a transfer instead. We confirm in writing within five working days.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 17 working days of approval. We do not send cash or third-party vouchers.

Cancellation by us

If a tutor is ill and we cannot staff the room, we offer a new date or a full refund. We will not substitute a recorded webinar for a live Sequence Lab without your written agreement.

Exceptions

We may refuse a refund where materials were shared outside the enrolled seat or where production data was pasted into a shared classroom in breach of the terms. Chargebacks should be a last resort; contact us first.
